William Maurice founded William-Maurice-Endeavors in 1997 with a simple vision: to represent the very finest actors, models, athletes, and "content creators" across the tri-state area and beyond, bringing the full force of his industry experience to bear on behalf of his clients.

He has been in the entertainment industry for longer than he is prepared to specify. His background includes positions at several agencies he prefers not to name, experience in areas of the business he describes as "various," and a period in the early 1990s he refers to only as "a formative time." He has not elaborated on the formative time. Nobody has pressed him on it. The agency was founded shortly after.

William Maurice does not take meetings. He takes calls, on a schedule that is his own, at times that are also his own. His availability has been described as "selective" by Martin and as "a system" by William Maurice himself. The system works, in the sense that the agency continues to operate.

He is the reason the Power Ranger is on the wall. He has been asked about this once. He said: "That's a very good question." He did not answer the question. Nobody has asked again.

His philosophy, as far as Martin can determine after many years of working alongside him, is: find the talent, make the deal, shake the hand. He is photographed in the act of all three. This is not a coincidence. William Maurice does not do coincidences.

He has been described by Forbes (Magazine, probably) as one of the talent agencies that exists in the United States today. This quote is reproduced on the homepage. He approved it.

Martin Hales joined William Maurice Endeavors in a year he would describe as pivotal for the agency, though his memory of the exact year and William Maurice's memory of the exact year differ by enough that both have agreed to describe it simply as "some time ago" in all official materials.

He serves as Partner for Film, Television and Select Prestige Clients, overseeing the day-to-day representation of the agency's creative roster and handling all correspondence, submissions, scheduling, and communications that William Maurice has determined are best handled by Martin. This covers most correspondence, all submissions, all scheduling, and all communications.

Martin also oversees Martin's Quality Used Cars, located in the lot directly adjacent to the agency offices in Eagle Rock. This is not instead of the agency. He is responsible for some of the agency's most significant recent developments, including the ongoing software negotiations with a major streaming platform, the representation of Iguana Del Rey (currently the agency's primary earner), and the general management of a situation involving his cousin Gerald that is progressing satisfactorily.

Martin is warm, professional, and available by email at all reasonable hours. His fax, (555) 0124, is the agency's preferred contact method. He has a fax. This distinguishes him from Gerald, who does not. Martin considers this an important distinction.

His philosophy: find the client, believe in the client, manage the situation that arises from believing in the client, repeat. He has been doing this for a long time. He is still doing it.
